Use your computer to contribute to the academic, nonprofit research being performed by climateprediction.net. Their computer models simulate the climate for the next century, producing predictions of temperature, rainfall and the probability of extreme weather events. The more models that are run, the more evidence they gather on climate change predictions.
You can help discover how the climate could look by running their free software on your computer. When you run climateprediction.net on your computer, it will use part of the computer’s CPU power, disk space, and network bandwidth. You can control how much of your resources are used by climateprediction.net, and when it uses them. The data generated is sent back to them and incorporated into the climateprediction.net projects.
